Clary Sage Vs Common Sage

Clary Sage Oil is commonly mistaken for Sage essential oil also known as Common Sage (Salvia officinalis).

While both oils belong to the same family of evergreen shrubs, they are very different from each other. Clary Sage has a herbaceous, soft, sweet, floral, earthy aroma and the aroma of Sage is herbaceous, robust and sharp.
